This large green storage barn was used the the East Branch & Lincoln Logging Company and the Lincoln Paper Mill. It was just as the name suggest - it was just a large barn used for storage. We do not know when the barn was built (in the early 1900s?) but it was probalby torn down shortly after the paper mill closed in the late 1970s. Before it was a storge barn it was a stable for all the horses used in logging. If you're tired of freight buildings that are shorter than your freight cars this is the structure for you. This will help keep your rolling stock in perspective.
