Times Printing Office. Ouray, Colordo. Kit 1042 This little printing office was one of the first buildings constructed in Ouray, Colorado. It was located right on Main Street. The first papers printed in Ouray were printed here. The town officially incorporated in 1876 and the first paper printed was in 1877. The first photo shown was taken in 1877. George Ripley, the first publisher, can be seen in the second photo with his hand on the burro. The printing office is just to the left of his head.
